My favorites are tied between Roger Moore and Timothy Dalton. When I want to see a no-nonsense, serious, hardcore interpretation of Bond, I'll watch one of the two films TD did. However, when I'm in a later mood perhaps, and want to see the more "out of this world/action star" kind of Bond, there's quite a variety to choose from with the seven films that Roger Moore starred in.
He should have done eight, however, with "Diamonds Are Forever" being his first.

Sean Connery, the Original and Best!
I like the old movies better. They used story lines and plot development and characterisations as well as gadgetry. The new ones rely too much on special effects.

I love Pierce Brosnan as James Bond. I think he's got a wonderful 'air' about him, and truly makes you think HE is James Bond.

I think Sean Connery is my favorite, but I do love Pierce Brosnan as well.
