I have two really old swords that I know absloutely nothing about. I'm just trying to find out anything to help me ID them and maybe date them too. even if you know a website that can help me, I would appreciate it. I can't post pics so if you'll email me I'll send anyone/everyone the pictures. Thanks!

The condition and whether or not they were issued military or not will determine as much on their value as anything else. To me a really old sword is 4-500 years old.

Sword collecting has so many facets it may be hard to tell you even if you sent photos. If there is a company name on the blade near the hilt, that's a good place to start.

Original swords could be worth as little as 50 bucks up to tens of thousands. That's the extreme both ways though. My e-mail is listed if you want to send photos but that is up to you. Google sword values or something similar may show you some good pics to compare.
