No... age does not matter.
What matters is how 2 people connect & bond....
Love has no age restrictions....

I really think its how many miles a persons soul has on it, I wasnt 19 when I was 19, most of my friends were close to 40 and we had lots in common, my boyfriend was 51- we dated nearly a year. Just depends on the people, I guess. A motivated 25 year old can have lots in common with someone who's 40, but a not so mature 25 year old may have more in common with an 18 yr old (or younger).

As long as people in the relationship are "in love" and "mature" enough I would say that age doesn't really matter.
I've had friends who have been married for 20-30 years with 10-20 years age difference. Even my parents have 15 years between them (Mom is 10 years older than Dad) and theyve been married 50 years and my aunt & uncle (Auntie is 12 yrs older) and been married 55 years.

As long as they are of legal age, I don't think age matters. My husband is almost 25 yrs. older than me. Before him, I've always dated older guys. If two ppl are in love, then that's all that should matter.

I don't think it REALLY matters, as long as they love each other, and they don't have a HUGE difference in age, like 20 or 30 years apart.

The age garbage in society has always driven me nuts. I swear sometimes people expect a person to find someone who was born within ten seconds of one's own birth.
They say oh, she's old enough to be your mother.
She's young enough to be your daughter.
How about if someone is my own age, isn't she old enough to be my sister?
Maybe these people are just a bunch of incestuous closet hillbillies with this line of thinking.
Another great excuse is that they have nothing in common. I for one have nothing in common with people my own age, except age.
There is so much crap in relationships that, for the most part, I can't be bothered anyway.

People say it's just a number but at some point it becomes an issue in a relationship. However it is really up to the couple to decide if it really is an issue.

Yes, depending on where they are. A 20 year old does not have much in common at all with someone who is 49.

America's youngest first lady:
Frances Folsom Cleveland/President Grover Cleveland--27 years apart...
"I detest him so much that I don't even think his wife is beautiful." So spoke one of President Grover Cleveland's political foes--the only person, it seems, to deny the loveliness of this notable First Lady, first bride of a President to be married in the White House.
Oh

no to a certain extent. anythig over like 10 years is just strange. If someone is old enough to be your parent, or older, how can you relate to them on the same level of maturity and what you want out of life, ect.
