I recently saw the Broadway musical Chicago starring Lisa Rinna (of Melrose Place and Dancing With The Stars fame) and Harry Hamlin (of L.A. Law and Dancing With The Stars fame) in New York City, after the show the cast came out and signed autographs. I got Lisa's and Harry's and I also took a picture with Lisa. They were excellent in the musical and gorgeous and down-to-earth in person. It was a fun experience and I enjoyed meeting them.

I've met a lot of famous older country musicians like Marty Robbins, Jeanie Pruitt, and Jeff Cook of Alabama. I went to school with Jim Moore of the Animal Band, and I grew up about 15 miles from Danny Shirley of Confederate Railroad. I even sat in with him a few times before he hit the big time.

Oh, and "A Winner Never Quits" was filmed in my home town and I was one of the soldiers in the parade. I'm in the same scene with Keith Carradine and Mare Winningham.

well lets see...I've met all sorts of famous people. I used to work in Virgin Megastore in Times Square New York City. Famous people used to go in there all the time and just shop like the rest of us. Jake Gyllenhaal asked for my help once. I rang up Topher Grace. Hell even Jesse Jackson walked into the store once! There were also countless in-stores. I met the Backstreet Boys (I know! I know!) Rob Zombie, The Goo-Goo Dolls, Nick Lachey (post-Jessica) and a whole bunch of other celebs. But I think this story is typical for anyone living in a major city like New York or L.A.

Donald Trump. I was volunteering at a fundraiser for Rudy Giuliani this summer and it was hosted by Trump at his golf course. I wish I could have met Giuliani while I was there too but I didn't get the chance to.
I was sitting at a table handing out nametags to guests as they arrived, and Trump walked past towards the room where the reception was being held, looked at me, and asked "Is Rudy in there yet?" I was in too much shock to come up with anything more intelligent to say than something along the lines of Uh... I don't think so. haha.

I worked as a Marketing Intern for the Milwaukee Bucks so I got to see a lot of the players, but on some of the game nights they would set up an autograph booth and one of the players would be signing and the marketing info table was right next to it, so I got to meet a lot of the team that way. It was an amazing experience.

Markie Post was on a TV sit-com from the late 70's or early 80's ... she played a public defendant on a series called "Night Court". Famous for her breasts and perky demeanour. Every guy I knew, knew who she was and had a crush on her. She dropped out of sight for a number of years, to raise her family. She re-emerged a number of years later for a M.O.W. that aired in about 1997 (I think). It was entitled "Danger on the Mountain". That was it's working title although I suspect it was changed to something else during final production. I was a liason with the production at the time as well as a base manager for a small helicopter company who had leased our hangar out for the shoot. On the last day of the 8-day location shoot, my office became occupied by crew and cast of the company in a last ditch effort to escape the rains between shoots without having to run to their trailers which surrounded the tarmack. I came in from refuelling an A/C or something to find my office occupied by more people than I saw in an average day. One of them was a drowned rat who I recognized as being the star of the production. She stood up when I entered the room, shook my hand and complimented me on the coffee (which I had to give credit to their set designer for having provided ... he's dead now). She actually seemed genuinely interested to meet me. I'd just gone up in a helicopter the day before as an emergency co-pilot for a heli-logging deal and apparently all the cast and crew were envious. Their insurance riders prohibited them from any unneccessary risks so weren't even allowed a complimentary flight. Anyway, she was absolutely delightful, this woman and while I'd never paid attention to her as an actress, she sure impressed me as a human being.
