I was so ill one time, I answered the door without thinking and then told them I was too ill to see anyone. They insisted on coming in and praying for me (which was nice of them) but they kept coming back and back. They were very pleasant men but I tried saying I was not interested and did not believe that way. I don't know if they had to see a certain number of people a day or not, but they came every week no matter what I said. I had a little dog who was always in and out so I could not pretend I wasn't home.
These were Mormon men not JW.

They're Christians like you or me and they really believe they are doing the right thing because the Bible does encourage us to spread the word of God and I can imagine their feet must hurt and they must get thirsty and stuff so I think you should be kind to them. Jesus said when you are kind to someone and offer them a glass of water etc. It is as if you were kind to him. So I think you should invite them in, offer them some cake etc. If you just tried out a new recipe you could try it out on them and get a bunch of reviews on the spot etc. Besides-who says they are the only ones who can talk? I can talk so much at times they would probably never come back as I would take up too much time lol. But then again I live in a high rise with restricted access so it's hardly likely I would ever meet any Mormons or Jehovah's Witnesses but I do remember as a child seeing them come to my home and my Grandmothers. My Grandmother used to preach to them instead of the other way around. She knew the Bible like the back of her hand and often they were young people and couldn't answer her questions so she took the opportunity to advise them and teach them about God.

the place do you human beings stay that they arrive to the door too lots ? Centurion in darkest Africa if a Christian got here to the door might you confer with them or assume they have been mormons/JW Any uninvited individual at my gate is asked what they choose. in the event that they choose some thing specific then I have no hassles with them. Any non secular missionaries, of any faith, who desires to share readings from the bhagavad gita, the bible, the e book of moron, the watchtower or the koran are with politeness asked to pass on.

Some Jehovahs witnesses came by a while ago, My mom didn't let them in though, they were saying something about all the evil in the world and asked her if she'd ever thought about the source of that evil...

Heck no. I would never let them in my house. I will NEVER be that bored. Now they're never going to leave you alone.
Next thing you know Sunday morning will come, they'll be at your door at 8:00 A.M, and you'll have to stay still so they don't know that you're home.

Lol that's funny. The LDS/Mormon missionaries have never knocked on my door. When I was LDS/Mormon though, some Jehovah's Witnesses came over though, and my friend who had just gotten baptized was there with me, and he let them in. One of the JW's was as gung-ho as my friend and the other wasn't as gung-ho...like me. So we let her friend and my friend argue while we watched tv.

Yes, I have. However, my father ran them off because he felt that they were trying to convert me away from the Southern Baptist Convention. LOL
