More like depressed; at the level of immaturity and trolling in here. No point in responding to most of that; they're just looking to fight with someone, anyway, not to actually discuss anything or resolve an issues.

Not dirty, but a bit baffled by the rant to question ratio in this section. It seems that a lot of the questions in this section are no more than rants, and that most of the actual questions are asked by people that aren't really interested in getting a factual answer, just a rant that matches their own opinion. Of course there's the trolls, they seem to gravitate to this section.

I find it astounding how people look at the same information and rationalize it in an entirely different way from each other. Most don't seem to want any explanation but take words out of context to make some radical point. They are angry and wish to remain angry and cause others to be angry even if that anger is totally misdirected.

Yes.
It's very difficult to participate in a forum where real discussion is almost impossible. People resort to belittling others and name calling in order to make a point. That means there's no way to have a real conversation. People's sarcasm is a tool to shut out anything that is new and to keep from taking time to think very hard.
I believe that in order to have any real influence we have to respect others' views and listen to them. Otherwise they won't listen to what we have to say either. Sigh.
