When aroused it no longer hangs, but its angle is decided by the firmness of underwear and or design of jeans or trousers. if clotheing is loose it salutes straight forward and to the left. In tighter clotheing it is forced to double over in an arc either forward but still pointing down, or left and directly sideways. If by some chance it was pointing upwards when it engorged then thats the largest problem, because its most sensative side ( the frenellum?) is rubbing against everything, making it difficult to calm it down. Its then that I need to use heavy duty imagery, I found the most effective is to imagine Former Soviet shot-put throwers with haemorrhoids, going skinny dipping in the arctic. That normally does it.
