Actually they do know before it happens and the panic they feel releases a hormone into their system, which we digest when we eat cow meat. And pigs too.
It's true, look it up...it's not good.

No I don't think they know. Really don't. I have seen them be killed many times and they didn't seem to know what was going on

yes, they do.
There was a woman I think came from America who designed a special cattle race so that when the cattle went into it they weren't spooked and went to their death not anxious with their surroundings.

yeah, they know. i also know that they feel fear. on www.peta2.com it says that some don't die until it is partway done... i know that they are pretty much extremists, but they had pictures and videos so i believe it...
