The rocky mountains are beautiful . Denver is overpopulated and the people drive exteremely aggressive. Moreso than in New York. I have traveled in all 48 states the past 18 years with work and I'm not sure where you are from but the driving can be treacherous in the winter with incredible snowfall accumalations in higher elevations. Incredibly high hispanic population in the state. If you live at /near sea level, beware going west of denver across the rockies. You will have a very difficult time breathing and the slightest bit of activity will leave you feeling woosy and drained. I did drive across I-70 last june and the weather and scenery west of Denver is just beautiful. Things in the state seem to be on the pricy side from what i could tell also. Good luck.

I was mesmerized with the state of Colorado! On the west side of the Rockies, there are some of the most beautiful ranches, and lakes, that are set with the mountains in the background! On the east side of the state, there is a lot of flat land which is nice, and the weather is not too cold, and not too hot! If I had to live in any other state, it would be
Colorado!

Yup, been to Colorado a few times. It's a part of God's country!! The mountains, the valleys, the people, it is all wonderful. If you do visit, listen to your body, especially in the mountains. Some passes are more than 10,000 ft in elevation or higher & it will take some time to get use to it, but it is all part of the experience.

Colorado is a beautiful state. I have been there many times and no matter the season, there is alot to do and tons of beauty to see.

Personally, I did not like the bigger ski lodges! They are very pricey for the service and food! Aspen, Vail and a few others were not that welcoming!

However, there are places in that state that are breathtaking! I stuck to back roads and such and I have never seen such beauty!

If you are planning on going, I would encourage you to do so! Have fun!

Absolutely love it. Lived out there many years ago. Still have relatives in Ft. Collins whom I visit from time to time. Ther eis nothing like the majestic beauty of the Rockies. I would move there myself if circumstances were different.
