Are you serious? The answer is obviously Britney. She didn't buy her way into fame. We could argue all day long about Britney's talent or lack their of, but it's obvious that the girl worked hard to get to where she is. The problem is, Britney is young, has all this money, and she's trying to be as normal as possible. So she's made some mistakes, haven't we all? If I had a camera that captured my every screw up, I'd look just as bad if not worse than Britney. Paris on the other hand, grew up around money, knows how to handle coming from a famous family, and knows she's living in a fantasy and so she's trying to fill some void in her life. She is also too much of a materialistic b-tch and attention whore to stay out of the limelight. Seems like Hollywwood (or now Hollyweird) is the norm for rich kids who feel bad about how good they have it. They have all this money and it's apparent that they'll never go out and get a real job, so whynot do crappy b-movies and hangout with celebrities that have actually earned their fame?Britney is trying her best with that she can. Britney's father wrote an e-mail to a media outlet and basically aired dirty laundry and if that's of an indication about how big of a snake her father is, than I could understand why she doesn't trust anyone and wants to keep as much people away from her children as she can. Her mother seems to be a stage mother who exploited her daughter and never told her "no" (especially when she became famous) because Britney was her meal ticket and she paid the bills. I think now, Britney has finally woke up and realized just who she can and cannot trust and who is really looking out for her best interests. She'll find her way, once this nasty divorce is settled and she can finally be free and put all this behind her. She's the only one out of young Hollywood who doesn't have a court date coming up. So she isn't as "toxic" as people want to believe. She'll find her way, I have faith in her.

Neither one of these girls is a good role model but like it or not they ARE role models to millions of younger girls all across the country (USA). I'm going to have to say that RIGHT NOW...Paris Hilton is the better role model. Although she pretty much represents entitlement in the USA she atleast is acknowledging (or putting up a front of acknowledgement) that her actions were wrong. Britney Spears on the other hand is a mother of two yet she is going out getting drunk, showing her hoo-ha to all the cameras and yet she is complaining that people won't let her be. Britney is just moaning about how awful it is that people are critizing her actions instead of saying "yea you know what...maybe its not the smartest thing to come out of a limo with my legs wide open when I'm wearing a short skirt and no panties!"
