Can the mucus plag be white an stringy?

Yes and it usually had a littl blood in it... not alwaysbut most ofthe time.

Yes, it was with my second. With my first it was just bloody. Every pregnancy is different for every woman. I delivered my son 6 weeks after losing my plug and 3 1/2 hours after losing it with my daughter so it is no real indication of going into labor.

My doctor told me if you feel pressure, pain, or can't sleep for 24 hrs it is time to call him. Not everyone has regular contractions when going into labor. I did with my first but not my second.

Mine were kinda clearish with red streak. Really slimy. That's why it's called mucus plug, i guess.

They're lots of work, but lots of fun, too.

it could range from a thick clear glob,it could be whitish with red or pink streaks, most of the time its jellylike mucous (the color of apple jelly) and could come out all at once or a little at a time over a few days or up to a week or so.

no, that is just discharge... the mucus plug looks just that, mucus.... thick and its a GLOB.

Yes, that's how mine was.Mine didn't have any pinkish or redish tint to it

yeh thats what colour mine was then when i got more it had a redish colour through it
