We've been told all our lives that it's an illusion...and yeah from experience I discovered that when I got on the other side of the fence the grass wasn't green it all...well it was a lil bit green but it had quite a lot of brown patches. For just once I wish that there was someone who discovered greener grass on the other side you know...it's quite possible that it could be there...but just very rare to find.

It's all about what you want. Every choice has a consequence so the question is what consequence do you like better. We look at other people's lives and admire or envy them, but they made sacrifices to live that life just like we made sacrifices to live ours. Many people forget this and go to the other side just to find out they have to work hard and sacrifice there like they did on their own side. For the most part, people make the right choices for themselves the first time around. However, every once in awhile someone gets to the other side and they realise that it is the better choice for them. Like I said, it's all about what you want.

It's about 4 feet tall on my side of the fence and very green. I'm scared I'll get bitten by a snake or plow over a litter of kittens if I even try to mow it.

Lets see if you think so...
I'm in a loveless marriage and my husband hates me.
I have three kids that are spoiled rotten and fight constantly.
I do not have a job or friends because I moved to a new area where I know no one after 27 years in the same hometown...
Shall I continue?
Do you think the grass is any greener?
Just remember it could always be worse!

Mostly, it is just an illusion. Because we think that other people have it better or doing really well when they are just like us except they hide it better.
