All these terrible events are just what is happening on the surface. In the grand scale they are really small and short lived.
Just beneath the surface the divine forces are expressing bliss on a scale that dwarves our petty troubles and complaints. All of these temporary events seem to melt away before the true reality. It is infinite and loving. Eventually it will dissolve everything into it's overwhelming truth.

It's the only one we have, so we have to do the best to make it beautiful. If you try hard you can find beauty in almost anything. Yes, as you said, we have war, poverty, hunger, people hurting each other. But on the other side, I sit here and I turn to my left and I see my two cats sitting here on the bed with me, it's one of the most wonderful sights in the world, I love them so much, they make the world a wonderful place to be in. Earlier today I went to an art opening and wore a new dress and everyone loved it, I love getting compliments, especially when 3 people told me how it make me look so thin, it makes the world look beautiful. There's a war on, and I know that my cousin is no longer on a ship that is going to Iraq, he has a desk job in VA, he is safe on land in the US, I am thrlled, the world is good, he will not die. I have a husband who loves me and takes care of me as I am disabled, it makes all the difference in the world that I don't have to do things for my self, as at some points I can not walk, what a blessing it is for me, how lucky can I be.
There are horrible things in the world, my husband and I lost all our parents in the span of 2 years, but we have each other. You can look at the glass as half full or half empty, I want to see it as half full. I want to see that this place we live in will get better, that they will find cures for things like cancer and AIDS, that racists will be gone from our world, that flowers will bloom. This is the only world we have, I don't believe in heaven and hell, so let's make the best of what we do have now.

My world is a beautiful place in which to live.. It has my family and the sun in the sky. It has dogs playing in the yard and birds in the trees. It has people who say hello when they pass by. There are schools where people improve their lives and churches where people sing and have smiles on their faces. When someone hurts another, they frequently get arrested, because hurting is not an acceptable behavior. There is enough music to make everyone happy and enough entertainment to last until the end of time. In my world I meet a lot of really wonderful people no matter where I go. There is the occasional jerk, but they stand out because they'e the exception. All in all, it's a wonderful world.

Yes the world is quite beautiful to live in provided one adopts a positive attitude towards life. There are negative and positive aspects in the life. There are factors like poverty, hunger etc. which is one extreme of the society and there are certain other people living a luxurious and extra affluente life. The important group is the one in the middle. They are always needy but they live a contented life. They see beauty in what is happening around us.

some people think it is, and some dont..... but i think it is... why? because its the only one we have. we should make the best of it.
sure, there is discrimination, hunger, and all the other stuff that makes people suffer, but ,even if it is the smallest happiness that lasted only a bit, they were happy... and if they werent born, that happiness wouldnt of came, and i think that happiness makes the world buetiful. why? becase happiness gives of great feelings.....
the world might look ugly. and it might be ugly... but it is our fault. so lets make it clean, shall we?
ps- i think your question is worth loosing 5 points.... it is great for the world.

The world is absolutely beautiful. It's the antics of the human race that makes it tiresome. Weather extremes don't help, now that I think about it.

It's all up to you--you can see a beautiful world full of hope & trust & wonder---or you can focus on all the rotten things-& see no hope & a bleak future---you create the world you live in.

I think it is, but then I am not a negative person. Even with all the crap around the world, it's a good place to be.
