Bernard Fanning (an aussie, also lead singer of Powderfinger but went solo for a while & released a folk album 'Tea & Sympathy'. Another great Aussie, Bob Evans, who was also the lead singer of rock band Jebediah (his real name is kevin Mitchell, but he released folk stuff under the name of Bob Evans. Check out 'don't you think it's time' from the Suburban Songbook album. It is awesome.

I'm 16 and I like folk music. My uncle got me into it. I like Bob Dylan, Pete Seeger, Peter Paul & Mary, and Kingston Trio.
Current folk musicians I like include Indigo Girls and Jewel.
