What are some real-life / historical examples that depict this?

(NOTE: "spiritual satisfaction" may be replaced by "being satisfied with your own life". It's not interchangeable, but I'll accept answers to both =))

look at the many girls with a guy hanging onto their side walking around you.

how many do you think have dated and dated and never been truly satisfied?

very few. unfortunately

the only way for those girls to satisfy their perfectly normal unhappiness of all of those guys is to run into the arms of God. There they found comfort, happiness, and best of all love.
My former youth pastor used to be a cheer leader girl who dated the football players just to say she did. She was rich, had a good life, her parents loved her, and she had a boyfriend. And yet, she wasn't happy. When she finally resorted to God for comfort and love and strength she was able to succeed in life and her thirst was quenched.

look at George Washington, he didn't have the best life, he wasnt' very rich and he worked so hard to survive. I am sure he had a hard time finding happiness in the world because he tried. If he weren't a Godly man it wouldv'e been difficult for him to lead a satisfied life.

When there is something missing, God is always there to comfort you and will always fill in that gap in your life where you may be unsatisfied.

I'm satisfied with my life---more than satisfied.
I turned my whole life around 1 1/2 years ago.
Never have to be down again.
