My mother started teaching me to cook @ around 8 or 9 yrs old...she told me "you can't depend on anyone to be there for you to do the cooking, so you need to learn how" and she was 100% right! I also bake and can do laundry, vaccum, ..actually I'm quite the domestic dude! In fact it wouldn't bother me one bit in a relationship to be the one who did all the cooking and such..I love to cook!

Interesting question.
In my senior year of high school, I was accepted into the culinary arts program at Johnson & Wales, the 2nd best chef school in the country. I really wanted to become a chef. I have always been facsinated with cooking, and learned to cook at a young age.
I opted not to go that route, and instead became a financial planner. But to this day, I cook every chance I get. There is nothing more satisfying to me than to create an edible work of art, and then have people enjoy it!

Yes here one that can - Cook that is - Mostly Multi - talented Individuals with a real interest in life take time too learn the Finer points of most things - Life is not like water to go with the flow only in swimming up stream does a Man become really strong & Educated.....

I can cook some things rather well and I make an excellent grilled steak that doesn't need a knife, it falls apart with a fork. It is simply awesome.. I can't cook it too often as I could easily eat the whole cow it's so good..
My daughters love to come over for steak night though, so it's a family tradition with me... I can think of worse things to do with your kids than cook for them and show your love.

I cook and bake. I am even an accomplished bread baker from scratch with NO machine. All by hand. I also cook various pastries and several gourmet dishes that would make your mouth water uncontrollably. I enjoy it.

Anyone who can read and follow directions can cook. I don't see why guys act like it's hard. I cook all the time, and I don't think it makes me sexy. It means I'm not retarded and I can follow simple instructions.
