i was thinking of keeping one as a pet

If you don't mind raising one from a tadpole, check with your local pet/fish stores. They often sell bullfrog tadpoles as feeders for large fish, or for people to stock in outdoor ponds. That's how I got my last two, although they live indoors in large aquaria.

Other than that, try catching your own. You should check with your local fish/game department to see if you need any permits to keep them though - you do need these in some states.

Bullfrogs really aren't happy being pets. Just ask one, it will tell you. That is just not high on their list of things they would like to do.

i dont know where to buy them but i caught mine at a lake they make cute pets. when you feed them they stalk their prey its so funny
