It's just another piece of exhaust. There aren't any special installation instruction. If you're not comfortable doing it take it to a exhaust shop. Figure a couple hundred dollars at least depending on how much the convertor is and if you need to replace the rest of the exhaust with it.

Can be don at home but you will need the correct tools and may find it hard to get studs bolts or nut free depending on where you live lose. If you take it to a shop you should ask for the old cat if they don't charge for a core then take it to a scrap metal yard they pay good for these.

actually a pros job. A factory made one from your car maker is outrageously costly. They do sell over the market versions which are much cheaper. Also, places like Midas sued to sell cheapo verios jkust to make a pass in inspection.

Crawl under and see if your converter has bolted adapter on each end, if so it would be easy for you to replace... otherwise , if its welded, have a pro do it
