No Question it would pack any venue in any country.

My friend paid $700 for a ticket to Live 8 to see them. This was only for the ticket he still had air fare(US to London), food lodging etc. He was not the only one either to go form the States.

He also said that when Floyd's show was over a good part of the crowd was leaving and Sir Paul McCartney, the show's finale, still had to play. People were still leaving as the Ex-Beatle was putting on a show.

Bob Geldof was aware that bringing them together for this show would be huge. That is why he asked and they all agreed. because it was huge!!

It is a shame that they can't get past differences and do it one more time for the fans that made them so successful.

The only problem would be that some folks who only know of Dark Side, Wish You Were Here and The Wall would make it hard for the Hard Core Floyd Fan to get tickets (but hopefully they could hear some of the old stuff and expand their knowledge!)

I could only hope and dream for such a thing (they are in their 60's now)

I know for a fact they could still pack staduims to capacity, they really should get back together for a really good cause, maybe just to trip people out because they said they would'nt but did Live 8,after years of conflict, put out some new songs, maybe do some rare songs in there song catalog like say "it would be so nice" or a song less played like "Grandchester meadows",maybe a song thats a current event that ties with the bogusness of Iraq and our corrupt president,it would be very fitting even if it did'nt say it out right it,would have that inuendo, that seasoned Floyd fans could plug into and relate to,A floyd concert would be Therapy in this confusing times.

They SHOULD, but they won't. David Gilmour had said he saw Live 8 as closure for the band, a final way to end it peacefully, I doubt he would just decide to tour with Roger. And I really don' think they care about the money that much. I'm pretty sure that it won't be difficult to get 2 or 3 of them on a stage together (Rick toured with David and Nick toured with Roger) but a full out reunion probably isn't possible. If they wouldn't reunite in Syd's honor, tehy're not gonna do it for the money.

I really don't see it happening. After the reunion at Live Aid, Gilmour made a crack about Waters and then Waters made a crack about Gilmour. There's just too much hostility. I think if they did it WOULD be great. It's such a shame that such talented people have these kind of issues.
