Who doesn't?

Don't we all? Ha! Ha! Only partially joking. I think nothing is more important than Faith in Jesus Christ, a heart for others, family, friends, and pursuing one's passion. Still, I won't lie. While money is not everything, it can make certain aspects of your life easier, allow you to do more to fulfill your own dreams and those of your family, and eradicate most of the stress with concerns about retirement, etc... that too many people in the world face.

If it every happens, I will be humbled and grateful; thanking the Lord and helping others as I'm able. And yes, to be able to operate my own writer's workshop, build a dream home, save for retirement, create scholarship funds, give to my church, donate at least a couple of thousand every month to various charities, and help my friends and family realize some of their dream that would be wonderful.

Alas, that kind of wealth is rare. Still, a lovely dream. It would be ... a dream. I think those people who get on televison and say things like "it's not about that..." or "it doesn't matter" lie.

Of course, to a certain degree that may be true. Maybe they really don't want to appear egotistical, etc... and are afraid of being preceived as shallow. I really don't know. It just makes my skin crawl to hear lies falling so easily out of their mouths.

If anyone had the choice between being poor, middle-class, or rich, they'd choose rich.

I know I've elaborated a bit more than what you asked for. I think for most of us in middle America, however, and those living at or below the poverty line, understand the desire for financial security.

You don't need money to pursue or see dreams come to pass, but it certainly would make it easier.

Oh, yes. I wish I were rich. (never at a level though that was obscene or posed a threat to my integrity). No amount of money would be worth that. If God intervenes through some miraclous circumstance or if the sweat of my own brow accomplishes it, there will not be enough wild horses to contain my excitement. I vow, however, never to do anything in excess of my own personal wealth. The things mentioned above not multiple holdings. There is too much good to do. How I wish I could.

In closing to clarify my statements and broaden understanding, it is not the size of a person's pocketbook: poor, middle-class, or rich that dictates their character. There are compassionate, caring people from every circumstance and greedy, unfeeling people from every circumstance. I simply wanted to incite the false modesty employed by many to downplay considerable holdings, while they ignore the reality around them.

Meee... lol. Kinda, not really...being rich, I'd be worried about getting robbed or something, plus I would miss my life the way it is now sometimes... I like how I am now...but a little more money couldn't hurt anyone.

Of course, would like to be rich one day. But right now I have to put in the hard work to get to live the glamorous life one day but still maintain my work ethics.
