Let me break it down for you:
The BEST site will be NFL shop, they sell all sorts of jersies from all teams, replicas (# and name screen-printed) and authentics (the real deal, what stars wear on the field, all of the numbers and names and logos are stitched, lasts longer) and throwbacks (jerseys of retired or inactive players), thats the best way to get jersies ONLINE.
The disadvantage of NFL Shop is their price. I am not saying its over-expensive, but as you know from a sports jersey, every jersey costs a bit. NFL shop is the same. Replicas for currrent players in current teams costs around 70-80 bucks. Past players of a team costs 30-40 bucks.
Authentic jerseys, like I said, are the real deal, so they are obviously more expensive. Current player in current team authentic will cost you no less than 200 bucks. Past player can be found for around 150 and up.
Ebay.com is also a good site, but pretty much all the jerseys there, authentic or replica, are in all likelyhood, fakes. Those are the ones made in China or Korea (again, most of the time), an authentic one can be bought for under 50 bucks.
If you want REAL authentic jerseys, Ebays not the place to go.
Also, check each teams website and check their store, sometimes a good deal can be found.
If all else fails, go to yahoo! shopping and type in your search, you can find jerseys from all over the internet in one shot.
