There are no differences, they are simply different trimlines and options to make more money.
GMC and Chevy trucks are both made by General Motors and are identical and there is no difference in build quality they use the same engines, steering components, suspension components, brake components, when a recall or a TSB (technical service bulletin) is issued it covers both models because they are the same in every way.
The CSI index (customer satisfaction) is earned more at the dealership level due to the treatment of the customer when they buy or get their vehicles repaired not because of better quality of the vehicle, the dealer i worked at was Chevy/Buick and we always were in the top percentile of the rest of the dealers in the Pittsburgh market.
Nissan and Infiniti are made by the same company as well the Infiniti's are simply more upscale models designed to appeal to people with more money.

the others are wrong. GMCs are different from Chevrolets because of their inspection criteria. GMCs must pass a stricter quality control test and have less margin for error.

Infiniti is seen by some as Nissan's luxury line, like Audi to VW, Acura to Honda, Lexus to Toyota. Many of their cars share engines with Nissan cars, but like GMC, Infinitis are subject to more stringent quality standards.

Trim, grills and the name. GMC has had a higher CSI index than Chevy truck and from 89 to 93, a lot of people told me having both versions, the GMC's had lessor problems than the Chevy versions I would not be surprised if GMC has better quality control.

It's just the class of people they are for. The Chevy is for lower class as for GMC is for middle class and then Cadillac is for high class. Now Nissan is for low and mid class and Infiniti is supposed to be high mid class but I personally don't like Inifinit as for the looks. Also Infiniti and Nissan are the same besides looks. Chevy is the same as GMC except for the standard options. GMC comes with more standard then Chevy. Hope this helps answer your question.

gmc and chevy.... ford, mercury, and lincon..toyota and lexus....Each have the same cars just different names. For the most part gmc and chevy prices aren't too much different in price unlike the others are.... Ford is basically the base, mercury comes with more options standard but the price is a little bit more. Lincons are top of the line in the series, leather loaded you name it. But again the price difference is pretty significant... same with the toyotas and lexus. Why buy a $69,000 lexus for the same leather loaded toyota model listed at $32,000?...
