Let me ask you which one is more creamer, softer, thicker, which one is more ultimately delectable? Go for the sweety goodness of a smear or two of cream cheese on your bagel in the morning. You won't regret a second. Be careful, though, don't want to drop a crumb. Cream Cheese will carry you away.

Use cream cheese if you have some. Before I would just use butter -- I would heat that bagel up and put peanut butter and jelly on it!

It depends...If you toasted your bagel, you should use butter, cuz it'll melt all over it and taste like heaven.
But if you eat your bagels "normal", there's nothing better then cream cheese, kinda tastes like butter....
I prefer the flavored cream cheese>strawberry...mmm... It's like eating a dream on cloud nine... LOL...
