Hey what does it mean when you call someone white trash ?

To call someone white trash is exactly what it sounds like, you are saying that they are first of a trashy person, messy, sloppy, uninterested in what most of society considers classy. They closest word I can think of is ghetto but that is slang to, it's funny this is such an obvious question, its a term we all use often but it is difficult to explain when you avoid using slang.

It is a phrase (a very unkind one at that) that some people use to describe someone who is not as wealthy as some others, or don't wear designer clothes, who live in a poor district of town or in a mobile home, don't drive the best cars, etc. To me, it is a word only BIGOTS know how to use (people should be judged--if you will--by their INNER worth, not their outward appearance , the way they talk ,or where/how they live.)

That they aren't worth much and basically live very dirtily and sort of backwards from normal society. Alot of people associate white trash with rednecks, living in trailer parks, etc....its sad that we have to call people names like that...it's just wrong

it is a derogitive term for someone who ia caucasion and has little money or proper raising
