Go to Greektown
go to a Detroit Tiger game at Comerica Park.
Cabela's is 1/2 hour away in Dundee, IN.
MGM Grand Casino (well, you can take the kids there just to take a look ;)
See a show at the Fisher Theatre.
The Renaissance Center
Keep the kids from arguing. ;)

Go Downtown and see the GM Renaissance center, Greek Town, Chene road, Saint Andrews Hall. The Riverfront is exellent! Belle Isle.

Eat at Pizza Papolis and ride the people mover ;-) Visit Astoria Bakery for dessert. It's my favorite thing to do downtown. Check out a Tigers game too. You can get inexpensive seats easily.
