I had 20% pay rise twice, and it's not really good because it turned out to be that I ended up being the highest paid employee in my rank. You'll need promotion in ranking as well, otherwise when new bosses come they wonder what did you do.
One less day in a work week is not possible to think about it. Usually, I work five days but bosses always wanted me to come on Saturday to do extra project too. Remember 20% pay rise should be accompanied with rank promotion.

Same pay with one less day. I have been working 7 days a week for a year and it's getting old.

Twenty percent pay raise. The other option leaves you with the same work to get done in less time.

The same pay and one less work day would be great. Although knowing my luck the day off would be Wednesday. I work Mon. to Fri. so it would kind of suck. It would be wonderful if I could have Mon. or Fri. off and then have 3 day weekends. I wouldn't need a vacation after that.

I'm a teacher and since I'd probably still have to work that extra "day off" at home, writing curriculum, reports, lesson plans, making materials, etc, etc....I think I'll take the 20%.

I'll take the extra day off. There's never enough time off in a job unless you've been there for years. I could se the money to pay bills, but the time off would soothe my soul
