It's better than just sitting there, but its not good. You know what's good exercise? Riding a bike, or running.

dont you think youll be stronger by moving around constantly for 5 hours, rather than sitting on your ***? Ive read articles many times and ive heard lots of people tell me, they get EXTREMELY sore from the wii, usually the day after they get it. Im a wrestler, and i play baseball, im in great shape right now. Even though i exercise a lot, i got sore the first time i played wii sports, so yeah, of coarse its good for you. It wont give you a six pack, but youll probably lose some weight.
*edit*
this wont substitute real exercise. But if you dont exercise, youll see some results.

It can work your hands and arms real well by playing Wii games, but mainly active ones such as Wii Sports, or party games like Rayman, Super Monkey Ball, and Wario Ware. Although, pretty much all of the Wii games use small motions through out the game (not much exercise though).

It's possible to play it while lying down, so it isn't necessarily good exercise. If you get into it, you'll get a great workout. I was sore for a few days after I first played Wii sports.

It's questionable. There was this guy that played Wii sports for several weeks straight, and he lost five ponds! I'd still suggest REAL sports, though.

It depends how into it you're getting. If you just are standing there twitching your wrist, you're not doing much. If you're jumping around flailing your arms you are doing something, but I don't think enough to get a great exercise. It's still better exercise than other video games (other than DDR)!

The tennis game wears you out and is probably good cardio but probably won't give noticeable results unless you play it constantly.

Depends...
If you're standing up and moving all around, well, you can say it is exercise.. and well, afterwards, you get sore.

Pssh, no. That's just a stupid gimmick. It should NOT be substituted for real exercise.
