I'd take Pudge hands down. While LoDuca is very good, I just think that Pudge is one of the best defensive and offensive catchers of all time, plus he is the definition of a team leader.

Loduca has had a few good years while Pudge has had a great career. Even at the tail end of a great career I would still go with Pudge, his leadership qualities, and all he brings to the team.

First of all, LoDuca is way OVERrated!!
I would take Pudge all the way. He's one of the best catchers defensively i've seen in a while. And offensively, he's the guy you want on your team. He can hit all over the field and he's also good in the clutch.

pudge is the greatest catcher since josh gibson. he's really not a power hitter anymore, but he still hits close to .300. he's probably the greatest defensive catcher ever. easy choice here, it's pudge.
