I scanned my computer and limewire came up in the results. It does not say to leave or remove it. It came up in my Anti-Spyware scan. I don't know if I should keep it or remove it, or if I am even using it.

It's a program, believe me, you would know if you were using it.

If you want to know if your using lime wire then just look to the down right corner of your computer you can tell if the small icon is showing but if its not then your not using it. if you want to quit lime wire just right click on the icon and click Exit. And on your anti-spy ware don't remove it this happens when you first install lime wire i got web root spy sweeper and the same thing happened to me i clicked on do not remove and it stop showing on my anti-spy ware software.if this keeps happening then i would uninstall lime wire and delete all its files then i would download the installer from lime wire and reinstall it.

hay, uh lime wire is an open file sharing program it doesn't come up as spyware or anything because its not. Uh go to add/remove programs and remove it if you don use it!!!

The way you know if you are using it is if you open it by double clicking on the icon. It's not something that starts up on it's own, unless you have it in your start up section and it is told to open up when you turn on the computer.

how do u not know if ur using limewire ? if its not open then ur not. look at the task bar, wen u close limewire it stay in it.
