advertise...if you don't have a website or any banners out and around circulating then it wont get anywhere. Talk with other film makers. Honestly its about who you know but you need something that film people can look at. Most likely if you have a myspace they wont take you seriously. Get a website and banners to advertise.

Make the keywords relevant to the subject matter of the video. Make the video interesting or funny.

If you want to cheat you can put in as many searchterms as possible, maybe something that has to do with the top video currently on youtube. also send the link to friends and ask them to view it.
