Just curious...see it everywhere now and I never learned it that way. I guess it's preference?

Ever since people stopped paying considering basic grammar and letter writing as important life skills. (within the last 75 years or so).

I've not seen it written that way very often. I always think it's just a typo when I do see it.

As long as we can read the words and no the meaning I don`t think it matters here.Now if we were being judged for our spelling it might.

Another case of "the blind leading the blind." Someone who doesn't know any better, copies something wrongly written and it snowballs. What can you do?
