The previous answer was not correct. AP credit varies greatly with different collges. A 4 or a 5 will count in with most colleges, and a 3 will count for some. Very few will accept a 2, and none will accept a 1. Again, it varies greatly. Some colleges won't even accept AP credit for some subjects. To find out for yourself, visit the websites for the colleges that you wish to attend and see the policies of the departments of the subject(s) that you took AP in.

Yes. If you pass with at least a 3, you get college credit.
A 1 or 2 does not come with college credit though.
Good job, I guess.

Every school sets its own standards for what you need to have to pass each AP test, and while a 3 is considered passing, it isn't always enough to get credit. A 4 is almost always enough, so you should be okay regardless of where you go.

Most likely. It depends on the college but most colleges accept a 3 or higher for college credit, so congrats :)

Make sure you want the college credit! If you build on this subject by taking further more advanced courses, you may want to take it again in college just so you will be best prepared to go on. If it's a subject you aren't going to pursue, and if the college takes it, go for it!

Most, yes. But at more selective colleges, you really need a 4. But you should be okay.
