I am interested in purchasing a bungalow style house that was built in 1944 and I was wondering if a house of that age would be considered historic.

It is not particularly old. But, it has to be associated with some historic event to receive the status, it is not really based on age.

Only if it had a historical event happen in it like a president born there.

what do u mean by considered historic? by the state or federal gov't look it up. buy a realtor yeah sure they make it up anyway.
