my grandparents...for giving up their retirement years to raise me so that i would have a stable home and a happy childhood. they taught me how to be a survivor and to be independent.

Jesus Christ Is my hero.
Need I say more.
I see someone gave me a dumbs down for my answer....... oh well that's cool.
Jesus.....is the GREATEST hero of our time because he died for us for our sins and he didn't have to but it is because he loves us so much that he would do that for us. And he is someone I will always look up to I just wish more people would do the same maybe our world wouldn't be so messed up.

a hero is someone who fixes something that's broken or rights a wrong. I can't think of anything that's not wrong with the world right now.

if by hero you mean someone to look up to I would have to say definitely Jesus and my Dad .Jesus taught the most important of all lessons: to love generously and live to serve others.My Dad was a humble and good man who lived by such teachings and I'll never forget him.

my dad was and will always be. He loved his wife and children with everything he had and we never doubted that love. He was a God loving, flag waving, community minded man and instilled this in all of us. He never met a stranger. One of the smartest people persons you could meet for a man with only a 3rd grade education. A really nice guy.

From a reality standpoint. Some people love him, a lot hate him, but Richard Branson's (Head of Virgin Group) rise from nothing has always inspired me.
Otherwise, anybody who puts other people before themselves.
