I am way too young to get a job and I am sick of doing chores that I don't even get payed for, and I am sick of yardsales because I have to ask my mom and dad and they don't have the time. Do you know of somethings I could do to make money or websites I could go to? I need to buy a cellphone before the school year!

My mom said that she would pay for the minutes if I didn't go too overbored, but I am responsible enough to handle that. and I have babysat before and the mom was not very nice I babysat for 7 hours and only got five bucks and the child was evil! (nice first experience)

There's no phone out there to where you won't have to pay a monthly bill. So unless you are talking about getting something prepaid it won't work out. T-Mobile has been known for their cheap prices, but Criket is known for the unlimited everything. So depending on how much money you get from doing whatever if any one of those would work for you. Good prepaid is Cinular & T-Mobile. Cinular has all the perks... free after 9 & mobile to mobile, but the amount you pay for minutes isn't so good. T-Mobile on the other hand has affordable minutes, but it's minute to minute use and 10 cents for texting/free to receive. Shop around. Also try talking to your parents about the importance of it... emergency wise.
And if you're too young to work no one is suppose to give you a job. Child labor laws. The best thing I can think of is washing cars, delivering paper, or walking dogs. And if you're old and responsible enough baby-sitting.

Why do you need a cell phhone. As a teen ager you shoudl be having fun. Playing baseball and enjoying life, not tripping on the use of a phone. It is a silly request.
When you get old you will hate the sound of the cell phone. Was on a 24 hour a day job and the lousey phone would not stop rining. Get a life and enjoy it without a phone.

I think you really do need a cell phone if your parents say no than try asking for a prepaid phone like a trac phone
