Who was the best guilty pleasure during the 1980s? Duran Duran and CC were my favorites. Opinions?

I also forgot to mention Kajagoogoo, Howard Jones, Simply Red, Rick Astley and The Thompson Twins.

Bananarama and Duran Duran. I always play Cruel Summer on the first day of Summer as kind of a ritual now.

Duran Duran for me.

The others I could pick out one or two songs, but DD had a LOT of songs I liked (and i have greatest hits packages for Bananarama, CC and DD)

I still listen to Duran Duran. Dead or Alive is pretty good, but I prefer Duran Duran.

Bananarama were good to look at. They did mostly weak covers. But that's okay. They were sort of a poor man's Spice Girls.
