Torrent is a peer-to-peer protocol which allows users to connect directly to each other to send and receive parts of a file through a central server called a "tracker". The tracker itself does not contain or transmit any information pertaining to the actual content. It only coordinates and manages connections between peers.
Torrent sites are the one which lets you download files, esply movies or videos

The best part of torrent sites is that you can get to download latest movies

Torrents are small files (usually just a couple of KB) that track files that are being shared by other users. Download a free torrent program, like uTorrent. Using a torrent website like isohunt.com, download a torrent file. Open the torrent program. Click "add torrent" and select the torrent file that you just downloaded. The torrent program should then connect to peers that are sharing that file and will download the file to your computer.

Its a quick way to share files between a large network of users. If you have limewire or any P2P program that is a torrent app.
