Answering, posting questions and voting all scores plus and minus then what, what is your goal?
yes its sharing knowledge making use of your time, then what?? do you revise the questions again, resolved and the one u solved and so on? or what else?

I am getting tired of it, to be honest. I am going for 25,000 to get to level 7, then we'll see after that.

If you look at yahoo answers as points and all then you are not here for the true cause
The true cause is to share knowlege with people who know it more than you in a specific category and in the same time you could benefit him by helping in another category or even by benefiting the person who benefited the person who benefited him!
So you see, Help me help you, this is yahoo answers, believe me i never looked at my points or the point tree, i just saw im level 2 when i logged in thats it, who cares as long as you ask questions you want to answers and as long as you feel happy for helping others.
One day it was 4 am and my cat was dying and i didnt find anyone to help except here and my cat was saved
So Just live with the answers and enjoy the information that you need and the information that you give for people in need

It's just like reading newspaper or talking with friends.
Points is just a unit of record and it shows how long you spent asking and answering.
