In the upper right corner there should be a space to fill in who the letter is from. You may also be able to go www.usps.com use the track and confirm feature (just put in the article #) to see where it was sent from. I don't know if this will work for a certified but it does on delivery confirm.

Very unlikely it is a summons because they would have the county or city.

a couple of reasons a person gets a certified letter.
1. You are being sued
2. Someone is demanding payment for a debt
3. Some other legal document ( a traffic ticket from a camera, etc.)
4. Some product recalls come certified
Chill out, forget it until Monday and have a good Sunday. (Of course it wouldn't hurt to go to church or synagog, just in case)

It does not sound as serious to me as it could. Certified mail just means that the sender wants to make sure you received
it. It could be anything from anybody. The numbers you see are just part of the P.O.'s tracking system and will not mean
anything in terms of who sent the letter. It could be a dun, or
a assessment by the city, or anything at all, usually if you are
being sued, a server will hand you a summons to court. Chill.

Huh, how can anyone on here help you with that, Just pick the letter up Monday and find out.

Oh it's not jury duty that doesn't come certified.

The article number doesn't mean anything. It's just the number on the certified form that they filled out. I don't know what it is, but it's something that the sender wants to have proof that you received.

I use to be a mail guy, 3 most common certified letters:

lawyers
collection agencies
recalls

Im going to guess collection. I would think a sheriff deputy would issue a summons in person.

Is your neighbor's name Boroughs? Do they have a reason to summon you to court? Look it is Saturday and worrying is not going to do one thing to help you solve your questions and fear. A similiar thing happend to me and come to find out, it was just a notification for my husband to have his CDL license renewed. I worried all weekend for nothing. Now relax and put this out of your mind. Enjoy the rest of the weekend and deal with this on Monday morning. Good luck!
