Is there any kind of cell phone plan where you pay monthy according to how much you talk? But not a pay as you go plan.

I already have a pay as you go phone, but some of the same monthly costs are a little too high.

for alternatives, i can only think of two options : buy a prepaid phone (which you dont want) or get the cheapest cingular rollover plan (which means you will still pay the same monthly fee but will be able to use minutes for up to one year)

I have not heard of one yet,and I have looked at a lot of plans from a lot of companys. What it sounds like to me is you are wanting a prepaid plan, and they have some very good ones out there. Try your kmart store, walmart and regular cell phone stores. good luck

no because it makes sense and the phone companies would lose money. Too bad you are not the president of a cell company

Try Page Plus it is dirt cheap - 6 cents a minute - no daily fees
