i think it depends on what kinda school your auditioning for. cause i go to an acting school. music theatre/drama focus school. basically they're looking for a very outgoing, loud person with good acting skills. just dont be shy.

In my audition for my school [name withheld], I had to perform a dance. It had to be 3-5 minutes long, and I had to have the music, and 3 different types of dance stylings.

I had to sing a full song, none of the 16 bars nonsense, do a warm up, and sing some scales and sightreading.

I also had to perform a 2 minute monologue from a published play.

Then, I was asked to do several improv excersises.

Next, short interview, with the teachers, then they had me mingle with students.

After, in about 5 weeks, I got a letter saying I was accepted.

They look for talent, and a personality that pops.

Though it's different for every school, expect something like that.

Good Luck!

The requirements are different at every school. Contact the school and ask them the requirements. If they have a website, look on it, it may give you the information you need.
