Uses a soft cloth (cotton or microfiber is good) dampened with a soft soap solution. (liquid hand soap, not dish soap)

The cloth should damp. If it is too wet then you can squeeze water out when you clean the screen, which then can run under the bezel and can short out the electronics that are there.

If soap solution does not get the dirt off, try the same cloth dampened with rubbing alcohol.

using a soft-cloth (preferably a lens cloth, the ones people use to clean eye glasses or camera lenses ) simply apply a little glass cleaner fluid (aka windex) to the cloth (not directly to the screen as it may seep into the molding and damage the electronics).

alternatively you can buy lcd cleaning napkins at staples

confident, water is risk-free. do no longer USE WINDEX. Windex incorporates ammonia that can harm an liquid crystal exhibit and reason it to coach yellowish and finally close down the liquid crystal exhibit. Use a humid fabric with water and wipe your exhibit screen clean, make particular to no longer use too lots water so it does not get to any significant factors of your computing device. Dry it off with a dry fabric or towel after wiping.

Use an old dryer sheet. It will attract the dust off of it. It works very similiar to those Swiffer wipes, just at a fraction of the cost.

actually (believe it or not) you can use rubbing alcohol. I just put some on bath tissue and wipe the screen.
