Getting a good primer is an awesome thing to get for you make-up bag. It protects your skin, makes you make-up last longer and makes it smoother. Absolutely do not use estee lauder, lancome or elizabeth arden. They are not professional brands and tend to have more chemicals than anything. And dont trust sales people. I definately agree with getting professional. Laura Mercier, MAC, Napoleon, Sephora and NARS are all pro brands which have primers. I use the Laura Mercier and Napoleon primers all the time, both you can use on your face and eyes and they are both full of antioxidants. They are my personal favourites and Napoleon is really cheap.

i havnt seen that many good primers that are cheaper and good quality. The saying is true, you get what you pay for". I would reccomend lancomes lash primer, with estee lauders lid primer and as for face primer i would use elizabeth arden. If u want the cheaper stuff i would hit up the drug store and see what they have but i have tried a few and they either dont do the job right or come off quick or get clumpy. good luck

I haven't found a good low-cost one yet....but think of it this way--the primer sets the stage for all the makeup that comes after. You can buy decent drugstore (or similar pricepoint) almost everything else, but the one place I DON'T skimp is on foundation or primer. If it's cheap, you'll be able to tell. I personally like the Smashbox. If you buy it at Sephora, you can return it if you don't like it (even if you try it and use some).

Good luck.

uncertain concerning to the excellent, to date i havn't discovered a great one. however the wost one I even have tried is that crimson one by loreal it somewhat is in a glass pan. and its a creamy whipped consistancy. Its noted as some thing with the interest secrets and techniques. It sucks. Makes my makeup look terrible. all blotchy and sinks in to the pores. and makes a severe coverage commencing place exchange right into a sheer commencing place.
