girl i know how you feel. when i was in 4th grade, my mom was so embarassing. she would say "oh your boobs are getting bigger" or during basketball games, she would say "do you have a bra on?" yes, it's embarassing, and we all have to go through it. it's better to just get it over with. my tip is to say as little as possible. for example, mom: do you want a bra?....you: yes....mom: okay you're about a (size)...you: okay. once you get it, she's most likely gonna want to see how it fits (embarassing), but let her see for a quick two seconds and change. she might even ask if it feels okay and if it does, just simply say yes. i've been through that. oh and the acne cream thing, well tell her you need a facial cleanser. you don't necessarily have to say acne cream. it always helped me. now i do my own bra shopping because my mom usually messes up my bra size and she's loud, so i do my own shopping while she's in the store or i'll go with a friend or i'll have her pick something up while she's out. hope that helps! God bless!

I know exactly how you believe concerning the tampon thing. My mom didnt need me to begin making use of tampons once I used to be in middle school and after I wore distinct stuff i was once continuously worried about the imprint, the noise it makes when you stroll, the leaking, etc. It was once simply another thing to fear about. I hated it and that i couldnt begin carrying tampons unless ninth grade which makes the whole thing so a lot better! The secret's talking to her and telling her why you need to do these things. Just tell her how depressing you are with pads. Distinct humans select different matters. Or if that doesn't work tell her you need to go swimming at the ymca so that you ought to wear a tampon. For shaving your legs i will be able to see how that may be relatively embarrassing! Simply are trying to provide an explanation for to her that your growing up and you have got hair to your legs so that you need to shave them. It's part of existence and all people does it. Good success! I'm hoping your mom understands!

You are either going to have to tell your Mom that you want a bra or you are ask her for money and you go get one on your own. You should not be shy about this all young women develop breast and need bras. Heck! your Mom might be totally ignoring your hints because she doesn't want to admit that her baby girl is growing up. Talk to her. Right now you might not want to talk to her about stuff but in about 10 to 12 years you will be talking to her about a lot more personal thing than this.

It's not that hard, just ask her if you guys can go buy one together. I know it's kind of embarassing, but it's better than not wearing one when you need one.
If you want to drop hints, you could just ask her what type of bra she thought would work best for you.
Seriously, when you get a bit older, you'll probably start talking about them as if you were talking about buying socks, it's just something girls have to buy and they talk about them sometimes. It's not a big deal after a while, so she's probably comfortable talking about them already, it's not weird. It's just you, being nervous. Don't sweat it.

Next time you have a girlfriend over, conviently have a conversation within your mom's hearing about bras and needing to get a bra and not knowing which kind or size to get.
Otherwise, take a deep breath and tell your mom you need a sports bra for gym class. Trust me, it won't be as embarassing or awkward as it seems.

It took my mom a while to buy me my first bra. Why not just ask your mom to buy you a bra? She was young too. Its nothing to be shy about. If you need one you need one.
Next time you are in the store, just pick one up and ask if you can get it.

wait your mom offered to buy you one but you turned it down or something? I don't understand. There is nothing to be embarrassed about, EVERY single girl goes through this. If it's so bad just write her a note. You need one sooner or later, and yes it can be embarrassing when you dress in the locker room without one. If you don't need one, I suppose you could change in the bathroom.
