That's a tough question, because I don't really have a best friend. "Best Friendships" don't usually work out for me. With every best friend that I've had, we've always gotten into some type of fight, or else we've just stopped hanging out. Something would happen between us that'd make us not so good friends for a while, and then in the end we'd be 'just friends,' not 'best friends.' I don't think I've found an actual friend that I see often that I can actually talk to about anything. I have trust issues with almost everybody; I usually don't tell anything to anyone because I don't want them to spill it or laugh or whatever. It's hard with my friends. I always think that they'll go and say, "Hey, you know Gabi? She blah blah blah..," you know, they'll spill it or talk about me. The only friend I've been able to talk to about lots of stuff is a friend that I think I made here on Y!A. We talk about stuff that I wouldn't talk about with my friends because with my friends, I feel like I can't really talk to them. My cousin who is 5 years younger to me is my other 'best friend,' because we have fun together, and we've been close ever since she was born. To have a great friend that fits my description is hard to come across these days.

They're the closest thing you have to a sibling. They know practically everything about you and will be there for you no matter what. You know that you two will be best friends, even 60 years from now, rocking in rocking chairs in a nursing home. It's a friendship that everybody yearns for and is extremely lucky to have.

My best friend is also my Sweetie.
We have so much in common that it's scary.
We have only known each other for about 8 months, but it seems like we have known each other forever.
What really gets me is the way we can finish each others' sentences or even say what the other was thinking about.
We are so completely in tune with each other it's like we share one heart and one brain.

We have been friends for 22 years. He has held my head up, while I was drunk and puking, so my face wouldn't be in the stuff. He was there when I lost loved ones, he was there when I got married....and when she passed away, he listened to me babble on and on while I was drunk and depressed or pissed off. There is so much more...fishing, hunting. He didn't allow me to tell myself lies about what I was doing if I was doing something wrong. He has never let me down. I have done equally for him This is what makes us best friends.

Your best friend is someone that you can talk to about your problems. Also the person that you would want to hang out with all the time.

Ever since I've met him he's always been there for me. I can trust him with everything and he's ALWAYS there when I need him. He helps me understand what I can't and he can always make me laugh. Oh and he loves me and I love him too, I guess that's what makes him my best friend.

My Princess is my best friend. The love we share, our talks, her stand for the right things and her love of God all make her my best friend.
