I think it is nice. Since there was only one of the original 7 left, it is nice to have 7 new ones. I was happy to see Machu Picchu and Chichen-Itza make it. I was disappointed that not all continents got represented since Africa and Australia did not get one.

I think it's a cheat. I think that you cannot reduce all wonders in the world to seven. I t's very hilarious forr me to tell that monument of Brazil, whose value is zero fo me is a marvellous and Santa Sofia in Istanbul is not. Besides WHY on earth have every country only been able present one monument?. For instance Italy is plenty of world wonders although they aren't in that bloody list.

I just looked at them. I think they were good choices. My husband climbed to the top of the pyramid in Chichen Itza about 18 years ago. ( I made it about 1/3 the way ) I hope they won't allow people to do that anymore, since it is one of the new 7 Wonders.
