if bonds hit a homer in the 1st inning and the game is called in the second would the homer count

If a game is cancelled, then that game never happened. Since the game never happened you can not have stats for the game. This year, depending what point the game is in, they will postpone the game at the place where they stopped the inning. Then they will finish it up on a different day.

No. Only if the game is suspended and completed later will the stats count. If it's called before the fifth inning, it's not official and the stats don't count.

As long as the home team has batted in the fifth. If the game is called in the sixth inning or later the stats still count.

the stats count only if the games goes longer than 5 innings

It would be very cool if Bonds broke or tied the record in a game that ends up not counting. The fan who gets the ball would be major pissed!
