It's just an airbase where new aircraft are being tested. It was a special airbase during the cold war, as US can't let Soviet or anyone know about their stealth and other new aircraft in testing phase as others might have come up with a counter-technology for it by the time it becomes operational. Every aircraft that becomes operational will eventually have to be made public, it's just a matter of when and how long they wants to keep it as a secret. The A51 airfield does that for them until the aircraft is ready for operation.

No aliens tech there. I don't think aliens UFO exist either, it just makes no sense for any visitors to come during the night sky, and then turn on some fancy bling bling lights to announce their arrival.

I don't think its now a decoy base either. It's still operational and its too costly to do what while having some other top secret base elsewhere. Also, in this 21st century, there's no need for US to spend the way they use to during the Cold War on military aircraft technology. No other nation has an answer for US military power today and probably never will, it doesn't make much sense for Russia or any other nation to spend so much trying to play catch up with US the way Soviet once did.

US now fights a different war which cannot be win by invisible aircraft. They are going aginst suicide bomber and IEDs, not SAMs and jet fighter.

Area 51 is essentially defunct. Most of its functional departments have moved to five separate locations in Utah.

The government plays a shell game to keep "inquiring minds" from spying on technological "black ops".

I live near there (in Las Vegas) and it is a great possibility that there are secret tests in aerospace conducted there. It may also be a 'decoy' base to throw people off the track of the 'real' secret base, if another one does exist!

its a goverment base where they come up with new top secret aircrafts. they have been trying to make a ufo shaped plane because scientifically its like really fast and manuverable. and some poeple saw these things and freaked out and were like ALIENS!!!!. and then when the goverment was confronted they covered it up because they didnt want other countries to find out about their planes cause then they will make them too and we'll loose our edge.

or maybe there really are aliens their, you never know

i think all the rumors are true, but i'm pretty gulible, but i would guess that there are other life forms and/or there are super vehicles like UFO's, or maybe super people, you know, like their DNA has been chemically altered or somthing to make them different.
