I live in Dallas. I've been to Abilene but I don't live there.

I was born and raised in Abilene, I currently live in Pennsylvania now w/ my husband. He and I are going down there to visit my family next month. Abilene has definitely grown a lot since I lived there. It's small but comfortable. You can get bored quickly there though. Not to mention D/FW is about 3 hours away. I do miss the small city though from time to time. Big cities are full of rushed people, but you can get the hang of it after a while.

Lubbock here. Wish they had a Texas section for everybody else that doesn't live in the big cities.
