how do i transfer my verizon phone to another verizon?

my phone was busted but it still has minutes on it and i got a new phone today how to i transfer it to my new phone

First, pull the SN or HEX numbers off the back of the new phone (under the battery). Then call customer service, they'll plug the new numbers into the network, then you have to dial *228, hit send, press 2 to update software & you're done.

You can also go to your nearest Verizon dealer or any Radio Shack & they'll do it.

You should go to Verizon, if this is a prepaid cell phone, no you can't
